Tsumkwe Namibia Country Lodge. The lodge has 25 twin accommodation units with two beds in each room, all with en-suite shower, flush toilet and veranda in front of each unit. Built from modern material, steel, corrugation and canvas covered walls. The units form clusters, enhanced by lush indigenous foliage creating a natural environment. The lodge property is enclosed to keep elephant and other wildlife out, making it a safe environment for families with children. The big thatch roof in the centre of the lodge offers cool retreat to guests returning from a cultural activity at one of the many Ju/`hoansi (Bushman) villages or returning from an excursion to the Nyae Nyae Pan system with its abundant wildlife. Take a refreshing dip in the small swimming pool encircled by a green patch of lawn. The restaurant & bar also form part of the lapa under thatch with ample space to sit and relax, perfect for socializing and meeting other guests who share a passion for the wilderness and adventure. Normal 2x4 sedan vehicles can access Tsumkwe Country Lodge, we have two open 4x4 vehicles seating up to 9 guests and a 14 seat Unimog vehicle, conducting full or half day guided excursions to Nayea Nyae Pans, Holboom and Bushman villages. Picnic lunch can be arranged for full day excursions. Tsumkwe boasts a reliable fuel station and small general dealer to replenish or stock up on provisions for those camping wild.  |

 A gravel airstrip is situated 10km from the lodge - Co-ordinates - S19.35 E20.27. Prior arrangement is necessary to collect guests from the airstrip.
